It's available for pre-order now. Long shock version is still coming but they said "don't expect it to be too far off".
Really wish they got to 140ish travel with the link to turn into a mini-dread, don't really need the increased progression and bump to 135 doesn't quite seem worth it, maybe if you're a heavy rider it'd make sense. Doesn't look like the long stroke version will quite get there either based on their IG comments but we'll see.

Forbidden has a V2 Rock Shox SDU coil chart that was posted a while back, I'm 175lb riding weight running a 400lb currently w my Storia v3. I liked the traction and didn't have any hard bottom outs with a 375 but the BB got a bit too low at sag for my trails, got a sprindex coil to try at some point which should hopefully allow a nice transition between regular riding and park days.

I think I'll wait to see what they do with the long shock version. The 32% sounds fine, especially for coil. I rarely bottom the bike as is and it has plenty of pop. I'm pushing 210 geared. I never bothered to check which spacer is even in my FloatX.

The primary benefit with the v1 Cascade link was an improvement in small bump and chatter compliance, for me at least. I'm hoping for the same with the v2 link, not expecting to notice the 5mm extra travel much.

I am excited for the bump in progression. I struggle to find a happy place on the rear end with the stock Float X and link. Too much pressure and it loses the small bump sensitivity and traction. Too low pressure and I find the end of the travel too easily. Was trying to overcome this with compression damping but only having access to tune LSC didn’t help enough where I needed it the most. Even played with volume spacers and that just made the bike ride like crap in the last 1/3 or travel.

Seems to me like this link ought to help me find my sweet spot on the bike while also opening the door to experiment with coils without having to rely on HBO for end stroke support.

I can’t wait to install mine when it gets here!

Looking forward to your impressions, what is your riding weight? I didn't run the float x very much before moving to a coil on my build

Just got back from a week long bike trip to Angel Fire, NM. I was able to spend time on my V2 at the BP and also ride some of the local trails (South Boundary). Truly amazed at how well the V2 handled the BP laps. For context, I have a frame up build with the RS SDU air can and a Fox 36 set at 150mm travel. The rear end of the bike had no problem smashing berms and eating chunk. The suspension eats up brake bumps better than my Spire and felt more composed on the tight, twisty and root filled trails. It was the fork that had a hard time keeping up if I was charging hard. I actually enjoyed riding it more than my Spire and now my brain hurts at the thought that maybe I no longer need the Spire in the quiver for BP laps. Or maybe I just slap a triple on the front of the Spire and make it more of a DH sled. First World problems I guess :)

Nice photo, think I recognize that stump.

Check out the MRP Lift damper for your Fox 36.

Just posted a 185x50mm Rockshox Vivid Select+ for sale on PB if anyone is interested. Tried various shocks on this platform and it has been my favorite to date! Added a Raaw Madonna to the quiver and want to tone down the Druid a bit to justify keeping both.
