Heheee

I feel very honored Sir

Will try to get some proper measurements of the 3 sadles tonight for you. Have you ever tried the PureV? If not it's very similar to the RocketV, except that the tail isn't as pronounced and it's a bit wider. I've got narrow sit bones as well and why I liked the Rocket, but I've had no issues with the Pure or Laser, even on road cranking out the RPMs.
Don't think of changing to a nice "normal" setback post as dumping the Masterpiece, just know that shortly you will have another build you can use it on
Well, you may have a point there. I don't seem to be buying anything these days that takes a 27.2mm post though.
No worries about getting the measurements. The PureV looks really comfortable. I saw one in a Performance Bike Shop out in California over Thanksgiving. I was there on Black Friday and everything was on sale in the store. I could have saved a minimum of 35% on everything and many things were marked off even more. I was like a kid in a candy shop and what did I do? I froze up. I wanted so many things I walked out of there with my son (who was bored stiff we were in a bike shop) to go have lunch and bought nothing.:nono:
Problem solved for now with the Deva. It cost me 48g, but I swapped out to a Thomson Elite setback post that I forgot I had in the parts bin. Believe it or not, it came with my first Dos Niner frame that I bought used way back in 2006. I had shoved it back in the bottom of my parts bin cabinet and forgot about it until I was digging through there this morning. I found an old Cannondale 27.2mm post as well - but no setback on that one either. The Thomson setback gives me 16mm more which was just about enough to get the job done, so it's on the bike now. If it doesn't feel good out on the trail, I'll just sell my Thomson posts and pick up a favorite post of mine that I run on the JET - the Syntace P6 which has a lot of setback adjustability. And if it is fine out on the trail, you know the weight weenie in me will be looking to swap for the Masterpiece version of the setback....
It's really odd how fit seems to work and adjust for me over the years. Now with the seat back there where I prefer, I can run the Dos with 0 spacers and the 0 degree Thomson 120mm stem thanks to a better stretched out position and the weight distributed between saddle, pedals and bars. It's still only about an 1" of saddle to bar drop, so not bad. Of course, I'll take a few rides before making the "cut", but this seems to have taken me a long time to dial in the Dos. It feels like I could actually go to a 130mm stem and be okay. I rode much more upright in previous years, so I don't know what's up with me getting more stretched out each season. Stronger core? Getting more flexible in my old age?
Maybe I'll hit my head less from now on...
Thanks to all for feedback.
