I just got a Scott Genius 720 and want to know what your favorite geometry chip setting is and why. I rode with it in low yesterday and I am thinking or trying the high setting tomorrow.

I've had mine for 6 or 7 months now and totally forgot about that option. I have a plus, looks just like yours. I can't tell what yours is. I really like how stable mine feels now, on the low setting. It is very forgiving with the big tires. Steering seems quick enough but I certainly want to try the high setting. Won't be to next week though. I'll let you know. If you try it let us know what you think.

Nice! Mines a 720 and I took it for its first real trail ride yesterday on the low setting and it felt great however the rock gardens seemed super close to pedal strikes as well as the bottom bracket.

I guess 720's come in different wheel sizes, mine is 650b+, what are yours? I noticed the same thing. Others have said that too. It took some getting used to but I can avoid most of those strikes now. I think the high chip setting does raise the bottom bracket some, I'm not positive about that though. I'm looking for a set of 29" wheels to try, I know that will raise it some.

I have been riding in the low and just really watching my lines to avoid an pedal strikes. I tried high and felt like I was to high on the bike. I've been loving this bike though.
