when TP rolls get small, take them and put one or two in your bike pack. Never bike with out TP

I always carry a Bandana, I use it to wipe off sweat or wrap my head if I'm sweating a lot and not wearing a sweatband. I've used it to wrap a cut or wound that bleeds a lot and I've used it for the dreaded bathroom break on the rare occasion. A wet hanky works really well just have a spare storage baggie or some way to rinse.

Results very, but the desert I ride in doesn’t provide very good coverage.

IDK if your willing to carry a poop hammock or tube thingy you might reconsider your pre ride poop ritual, or digestive health?

In some places if you don’t carry it out you’ll be reviled by land managers and recreaionalists alike.

My friends on a wall in Zion could not get the lid of their newly built shyt tube off. So they dropped the poop bags planning to return to the base for cleanup. Rangers knew about them before they even topped out, and the climbers narrowly avoided a trip to the clink when they showed up for cleanup. It was a bad look for climbers.

Chucking shyt bags off the wall used to be standard practice in places like Yosemite. It was still illegal but climbers would scour the base after a climb and the place looked good. Then they slacked off with the cleanup and now almost everyone is on board with hauling the waste up and down. There’s no other tenable way with the amount of traffic on the walls now. Edited to add: Ascents typically take days, sometimes weeks.

This doesn’t relate much to MTB except that maybe riders don’t really think about waste management because they don’t have to do it in most areas. They’re a slight evolution of the basic roadside shitter.
