I think this bike is amazing. So far it has done everything better than my 2021 top fuel. The little bit steeper seat tube angle made a big difference for me. It's a much better climber for my trails. I'm actually loving the twinloc too. I use it all the time. And she's a looker ;).

It looks varied throughout the models. The ones I am familiar with are the RC Comp which went up $200, the 910 went up $300 and the RC Team AXS went up $400. Are you saying over there it was a straight 500€ across the models?
Sorry, I was looking at the RC SL EVO AXS top of the line.
But you're right that's the price differences across the models in Euros 💶.
From what I could find:
SL EVO AXS +500
WORLD CUP EVO AXS +400
WORLD CUP AXS +400
TEAM ISSUE AXS +300
RC TEAM +200
RC COMP +200
...

I am glad I jumped on one earlier instead of later. I wonder if this increase is due to the cargo container losses or general market availability. The bike only reached buyers in Sep/Oct so a price hike already just seems odd if this were normal times.

I'd say it's general exploitation from scott with the excuse of current situation, the bikes are already stupid expensive there's no other reason to increase prices.

Looking forward to Mar/Apr delivery for my Spark 900 AXS! I’m thinking this bike and a Ransom would be a great combo… 😎

It now appears I have as sure a bike coming as possible from a dealer in March. Got a call from them today saying the price for the World Cup Evo was increasing by $500. Told them I was still in. The conversation also included her telling me what little they had received so far and how unusual and frustrating it has been this year compared to years past.
Mountainbikes and mountainbiking are my passion and this is the bike I want. An extra $500 is a bump in the road in the big picture, I just hope the timeframe stays on track.
Another positive is the Silverton 1.0S wheels that come on the World Cup are said to be 1340g, a big improvement over past OEM wheelsets.

Did you already put a deposit down prior to the price increase?

With the delays and price increase starting to think I should have just ordered the spur to start with.
I am glad I went in earlier rather than later. My original thought was to wait for them to start hitting the shelves but all the talk on here got me thinking I should stop in a local dealer and see what is really up. I was not wanting to spend 6k at that time and passed on the 910's they had in stock. They also had a RC Team AXS at that time. Instead, I put a deposit on an RC Comp. Further talk on here made me go back and check on the status of said RC Comp. Since I had recently had a bonus over 2k I figured wth, I might as well go for the 910 since it is in stock now. Glad I did.

For those that tried or already own the new 2022 spark, how is the handling in twisty & flowy singletrack compared to the 2021 or 2020 spark? I know the new one is a more capable descender, but how does it climb, handle tight singletrack, and high speed berms?

Regarding the previous posters consern for CL 55 availability... Can anyone who has received the bike with an Eagle CL 55 crank confirm that it should be possible to move crank arms 3 mm closer to the frame on both sides?

If so it should be possible to change to a new regular BB92 (not the MTB-wide version) and use a regular DUB crankset with a 0 mm offset chainring. Q-factor would also 6 mm shorter that way.
