I have 3.5mm of 'dead travel' on my DRCV shock. I'm sure it's set up correctly (pump screwed on far enough to open second chamber and cycle the shock before checking sag) and seems to work ok, however the initial 3.5mm of shock travel needs a lot less force than the remainder. i.e. I can lean on the saddle and it will move 3.5mm of its travel before it feels firm. The back of the bike obviously sits lower than it should and there is an odd clunking feeling as it passes this point.
I have sent it back for warranty repair here in the UK but it's come back exactly the same!
Does anyone else with a DRCV shock on any bike have the same problem / feature?
