Yep lots more riding time on it. I have 0 complaints. Still messing with shock pressure to find the sweet spot

I came from a capra 29 with better components in every major department (36 grip2/float x2, XT drivetrain, code RS brakes) and I don't feel them being noticeably worse. Climbing and descending times are faster on the sentinel. Feels much more balanced up/down instead of heavily skewed towards down with the Capra

I don't think Transition have said that they will not release an alloy version. Last time they released the alloy first with no indication that a carbon was coming.....

I have been riding mine with a 140mm coil. This bike rips with both air and coil but with the coil it makes quick work of rocks and roots.

Why 140mm over the standard 150mm? I will try a coil at some point

Does anyone else have any more pics of their bikes? Im trying to pick a color lol. can figure out gold or gray. if i go gold im thinking darkish green accents and if i go gray go with purple or blue accents. Any one have anything like that!?

Unless the axle to crown is much longer on the 38/zeb, you can get them in a 160mm which isn't any different than a 36/lyrik

There's a bike shop down here in SoCal (the path) where one of the employees (or friend of employee, not sure) rides one with a 170mm 38 and he seemed to like it from the podcast that I listened to where he talked about it.

I’m thinking about putting a zeb on mine. It’s 5mm longer AtoC then the lyrik. So you’re looking at a 63.3° HA. And a minor bump in BB height. This will affect the L and XL bikes less because of their longer wheelbase. 170 and zeb/38 you are looking at around a 63 HA. Could always drop in an angleset to get back to the original HA

A 160mm 38 has a 6.6mm increase in axle to crown compared to a 2020 160mm 36. That is a noticeable difference, but shouldn't be a deal breaker. Just drop the bars a spacer, or add 5 to 10mm to the stem to get some more weight over the slack front end if you are finding it a problem.
