Has anyone experienced dropper moving lateraly inside the seat tube? I have sentinel carbon and bikeyoke revive. Torque 5-6nm, carbon grip paste, seatpost cleaned inside, using seat clamp that came with the frame. It doesn't move verticaly only lateraly.

Luckily mine does not, but looking down into the seat tube it is pretty shocking how poor the surface is in there. Lots of voids and gaps.

Time to try out the Transition warranty support! They'll take care of you.

I'm going to try a different seat clamp. If that doesn't help then it's a warranty claim. Obviously I want to avoid it as it's a major hassle and costs...pack, send the frame...it's invisi framed too so that would go down the drain for a start.

I just don't understand how a simple thing like that was not picked up by Transition at the QC stage. Plus a blown X2.

Transition QC sets a very low bar, good thing the warrant support is great.
I don't know what factory they use in China for the frames, but it's not one of the good ones.... đź’©

Are you running a long post? Running as long as possible to get the max insertion in the frame helps.

These frames only cost a few grand so I understand they need cut corners to make a living ;-)

216mm BikeYoke. 3cm out of the seat tube. So quite deep. It's nuts how deep you can go in this frame

Posted my Smuggler in the other thread, so I thought I'd post my Sentinel over here. Started as the Carbon GX build and I've swapped a bunch of parts (drivetrain, wheels, suspension, added CC link) to make it fairly custom. Weighs just over 31# with pedals, can't wait until the snow melts!
