My wife just picked up a carbon V2 Sentinel in small size. We didn't realize it doesn't have bottle cage mounts on the down tube, whoops. Has anyone come up with a bottle mounting solution on the small? Maybe a Wolf Tooth B-Rad to move the cage forward a bit on the mounts on the top tube to prevent the shock from hitting? Not sure if there will be enough room in the triangle, may give it a shot...

That is really strange. I haven't seen a small in real life but i know that medium and larges have mounts for a water bottle. Even in the FAQ section for the Sentinel it shows that the small can fit a smaller Fidlock bottle.

Thanks guys. Good point that the website mentions the small frame fitting a 450 ml Fidlock. I wonder if it is possible that the bottle mounts were missed during production, does anyone have a small they can check for the mounts?

I think what you're referring to is the accessory mount on the underside of the top tube...not meant for bottles but a fidlock might be an option there. Looking at a small for sale on PB...no bottle mounts.

Yes, I am talking about the accessory mount, seems to be the only place on the frame to bolt anything to. If the Transition site says it can fit a Fidlock, it must be on those mounts, no?

You could also try their uni-base and see if you could make it work inside the triangle. Email transition..they respond within a day or so to emails. Excellent service from my interactions with them.

I ordered a 450 ml Fidlock. I'll ask Transition to confirm whether their recommendation is to fit this bottle to the accessory mount; I feel like it must be though...

Here's my 2022 alloy sentinel in final setup (bar i have a xx1 copper cassette & chain to bung on when weather improves, running this x01 into the ground until then)

just messing with spring rates for the coil - landed on 375/400 for my 75kg weigh

incredible bike in the month ive owned it, i cannot wait for it to dry up out there - its going to be a fast bike

Has anyone had a good amount of time on the alloy Sentinel yet? Moving back to the coast in the summer and I wouldn't mind having a bigger bike again.
