Ohh good idea! I might try that. Strapping them onto my fork doesn’t sound fun in my opinion. Seems like it’s a good way to get a silver crown.

Just wondering about crashing and the bars spinning around because it’s inevitable. Will it rip out the air valve in the fork?
In 7 years of ownership even when I had them attached to the crown of my fork that never happened. I've had plenty crashes with them on. I did experience an issue once I took my bike to work and it set out in the sun the whole time. When I went to ride it was done. So don't leave them in direct sunlight for an entire day would be my advice. Oh and yes it was warranty replaced without issue.

I was more referring to putting them on the cables and ripping out the air nob. On the cables like your pictures.

The velcro straps allows for movement up or down the cables if ever needed. Also remember the air knob is stationary and turns with the fork at all times. So no chance of ripping it off or ripping off the SW. As many crashes as I've had over the years it would have definitely been ripped off it that was possible.
