I'll be putting my 27.5 together next week and I'd love to see some other builds.

I haven't seen one of these threads for Alchemy so I figured I'd start it!

Lets see how everyone built theirs up!

Teaser pic, updates below!

I finally have it tuned in, it was a lot of work getting to this point but I'm really enjoying the way this bike rides.

It's basically the XT enve M630 build.

- Brakes,I had some Formula T1 203 F/R rotors laying around in the parts bin so I threw those on and sold the XT brakes.
-Pedals are one up.
-Tires are Minion DHF 2.5 F/R (plenty of clearence) while I warrant this DHR 2.4
-Frame Bag Black Burn outpost corner bag with a 3m clear bra and velcro mount. (crash tested on the first ride)
- Shrink tube on the cables

Any further follow up reports on these bikes? I’m quite interested in the 29 ST.

How is rear tire clearance? I love the 2.6 tires (Maxxis and bontrager) I’ve been running. 2.6 is not officially supported, but I’m curious if it will fit. I ride in a mostly dry climate.

Inaugural ride in the N Ga mtns yesterday on my Arktos ST. I'm amazed at how good this bike is - the total package is excellent. Standouts are the suspension, stiffness of the frame and... the XT 12-sp group w/4-piston XT brakes. I've been riding XX1/X01 Eagle and even AXS on my tandem and I have to say this XT 12-sp is better than SRAM's mechanical Eagle and just shy of the speed and precision of AXS.

The shock is setup pretty close with a bit more work to do on the fork setup - mostly because there is so much adjustability to it.

I can't wait to get some more time/miles on this rig.

I've notice that in the short time I've had my 29ST some little rocks have settled in the gap between the seat tube and the rear triangle. A little suspension action and the result are gouges in the frame. A little ugly but likely not meaningful.

Have any owners devised a flap or fender to keep debris out of this area? Of course the "damage" occurred just below where my tape job ended.

Dang... that stinks for sure. Pivot makes a nifty little stick on "guard" that covers their linkage in that same post. It might be worth buying a couple, they come in different sizes for $4 each, and seeing if one fits. Perhaps it might work as a template to make something similar.

It's possible that Alchemy sells something similar also.

I love mine as well. Great bike.
But, I do have a short list for Alchemy:
A touch more rear tire clearance . Cable/hose routing that clears larger rear tire. Lower top tube (brake levers will hit if bars are turned all the way). A fender or something to keep debris from gap between frame and rear triangle.

For those of you talking about a rear fender I installed one using some 3m clear bra, 4 zip ties and the generic "marshguard" fender. It's not perfect but it dramatically reduces the amound of crap that ends up on the upper linkage, lower linkage, and my shoes! It has to be installed just right (test placement by cycling the linkage with the shock deflated or removed) or it could rub at the end of your travel.
