:madmax: Talk about a FR - DH Rig.... Tough as Hell! External Grease Ports! Time Proved Linkage! I have got a True Stiffy. I'm talking about my rig, dude. Needle bearings and beefy linkage gives incredibly stiff rear end. Corners unreal. The headtube is like a keg. The One.Point.Five headtube allows for a shorter stack height and more adjustability with your fork. Allows you to really pin the switchbacks and tighter turns. Full Length seattube. STOP. Realize all FR bikes should have a full length seattube, DUH! If it doesn't, then it is lame. My rig pedals right up Colorado single track at about 42 lbs. Full leg extension. I will race this bike DH. I run a 888 RC2X, Roco RC. Stable Platform--> Not Nessacary-->JUNK. This bike will knock your dick in the dirt. You better recognize when I come blazing past you. Tell me what you think....................

oh you bastard, I'm so freakin jealous.:madmax: Me and a friend were talking to them about sponsorship at Sea Otter, and we're both hoping that works out, then I'll be rockin a Trigger and a Blitz. I can't wait until then. I love my Demo (which I'm not sure if I'm ok giving up that frame yet, at least its not for a while) but I can't wait to change my AC frame. I want pics!!!!!

Pictures coming soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

I am I on a little vacation and have no way to upload photos! They will be here soon. ASAP. The Rocker is burl because its known to be a weak link. Problem Sovled. By having that solid axis the stiffness is unparalleled. Stiff as ****. Wait till you see it in Black.

I've never been a fan of the "Kona" look, but that is one well crafted bike. Question: why doesn't every manufacturer use needle bearings w/external grease ports?? props to Versus for spending the extra dime to give serious riders what they deserve in a high level frame.

I go back and forth on the look of the trigger. I think the build quality and machining looks top notch but there are times the rocker looks too Buck Rogers to me. Everything is squared off and hard angles then there is this flowy rocker arm. Saw one in person real briefly last weekend and it definately catches your eye. It looks better in person.

I think you need to lay off the caffiene or the crack; whichever one has you all cranked up.

I don't agree with the rocker design; it appears to come from an origin of appearance, not function. Too much beef in areas you don't need it, that center rib running longitudinally doesn't handle forces in the direction that a rocker needs re-enforcement in. Yea, it looks cool, if that's what is important to you.

I missed this gem of a statement. Does this mean that previous rockers were not burl? So adding a bunch of material to them, rather than designing them functionally correct to begin with, was the solution? WTF?

Do a little search on the Kona rockers. It is better to be sturdy than flimsy & with the needle bearings that puppy is solid. Versus learns from experiance & builds the bikes properly unlike some companys that will get there marketing crew in to make it all pretty. I like that Pats idea SMT .
There are alot of bikes out there to pick from & alot of people that need to ride them. :cornut:
