Hello to everyone. My name is Max and I am an employee at Mojo's Bike shop in Bentonville, AR. As of now I don't think that a whole lot of people in our area are aware that our shop even exist but we are hoping to change that soon. Up until this past year the shop was primarily geared towards skateboards and bmx, but the owner
"Todd Mains" had a few friends start pushing him towards the MTB industry. Needless to say Todd has jumped in with both feet and has shown some real enthusiasm in bringing quite a few new brands to our area.

As of now we are an authorized dealer for Pivot Cycles, BH Road Bikes, Niner Bikes, Ironhorse Bikes, Redline,
Rocky Mountain and as of yesterday we have now brought Marin Bikes on board with more brands sure to come.

Our biggest obstacle thus far has been our location. For one we are in a warehouse district and two our physical space is very limited, but at the beginning of next month our space will be approximately double what it is now so that should give us a little breathing room and in turn will allow us to stock a larger selection of bikes from our authorized brands. Anyhow, just want to let everyone know that we exist and we invite you to come by and visit our shop and see what we have to offer.

Our location is: Mojo Sports
1000 SE 5th St. Ste. A
Bentonville, AR 72712

Hope to see you soon,
Max

FlatArk,

Is slaughter pen worth the trip from Tulsa? A buddy and I may be able to get away next weekend and thought about coming over to play. Not free ride guys per se' but i do like the occasional dirt jump and skinny.

What do you think? Might even make time to hit the bike shop :)
If you like riding dirt jumps and skinnies then you should have a great time at Slaugter Pen. I don't know of any other place remotely close where you can find this level of freeride type trails. The XC trails are really fun also and the trail crew does an excellent job of keeping them up and they seem to be steadily adding to them all of the time. The shop is just 5-10 minutes from the trails so if you make it out definitely try to make it by. We stay open til 7pm M-Sat.

Just want everyone to know how happy I have been with my Mojo experience. Max has been extremely helpful and patient while I decided which bike would suit my needs best. Customer service has just been great. I already have a rigid SS 29er, but if I didn't, that blue Redline MonoCog Flight 29er would be coming home with me! Max, looking forward to my new 29er and checking out the store once you expand!

SoDakSooner -- Slaughter Pen now has around 12 or 13 miles of trails plus the DJ area, I would say it is worth the trip, especially if this style of riding is limited in your area (skinnies, DJ). If you like fast XC riding, check out Hobbs when you head this way if you have time, as long as it is outside of hunting season since Hobbs closes during this time.

I just bought a Pivot 429 from Mojo... straight up great guys to deal with even though I havent had the honor visiting the shop in person yet. All transactions were straight forward and very competitive!

MTBNate, thank you for your business. Be sure and post up some photos of your 429 when you get it built. I haven't had the chance to demo a Mach 429 but I have ridden a Mach 4. The DW link is a really impressive platform. I've personally never been big on FS but I could see myself buying one of those.

Thanks again,
Max

Does anyone know where I can get an updated map of the Slaughterpen trail system? I have ridden there, but only the 4-5 mile loop.. Where are the additional (new) trails located? Thanks in advance!

Just recently found out about Mojo Bike Shop in Bentonville, Arkansas. We stopped by to check it out a couple of days ago. I was really impressed with the guys that run the shop. They have a real passion for what they are doing! I ended up buying a "Rocky Mountain" 2008 ETSX 10 for my wife. Also, I am just starting the process of having them custom build me a NINER R.I.P 9. I can't wait to see the finished product. I'll let everyone know how it turns out!

I test rode one of the Pivot 429s during one of their demo days down here at Burns Park last winter... it is an awesomely sweet bike, and immediately flung me back into bike lust...

Time to revive an old thread!

Mojo is quite possibly my favorite bike shop. Great staff, really know their stuff. They came under new management a while back, and are really running a class act there in Bentonville. Stop in and check them out! Plug yourself in to the biking community with the backing of a great shop!
