Yep I have.
Meta V4 SX, Meta V5, Meta V5 SX.
The V5 is a smaller and more lively bike. Peppy and playful. To me the V4 felt like more of a smasher.
The V5 can still smash but is more engaging to ride
The difference between the SX and AM? V5 is the shock mostly. They feel similar but the sx with more travel is better planted and calmer. The standard V5 is much closer to a heavy duty trail bike
I have a Heckler SL now and whilst its heavy and has RS shock it feels more like a meta SX than the V5 29er AM
the Commencal sizing guide seems accurate. Go for a medium if you want something stable and good for steeps. Get a small for something more agile and engaging

Depends on the shock and fork I guess. The V5 Sx with vivid/zeb feels plenty plush and planted. The V4 I rode was a little different spec and also felt very planted but a bit heavier and less responsive to ride. There’s really not much in it. The V5 feels a bit more progressive and supportive and a better climber even in SX. I didn’t ride back to back So just going from memory.
