I still get pinged by people looking for these endcaps with some regularity.

I no longer have any for Shimano freehubs.

I still have ~6 sets left to convert an XD freehub from thru-axle to QR -- that is, from 197 to 190, or from 177 to 170.

I have one XD freehub and one Shimano freehub left.

And I have a pile of endcaps to convert the Salsa front hubs from 150mm TA to 150mm QR.

Also many 170 and 190mm Salsa QR skewers.

Any chance someone still has Salsa/Formula end caps for sale? My drive side end cap sheared off along the lip (see picture). Now the driver and cassette dislodges and smash into my frame/dropout when in the highest gear. It is a 170mm x 10mm QR Salsa Fat Conversion hub on a 2016 Mukluk, (bought used, forgot to ask for spare parts bag). I believe end caps from a 190/197 hub would work as well.
I am interested in both QR and TA versions of these caps, and would probably buy spares for if anything breaks again. Would rather not convert to TA with the Alternator 1.0 kit, but will do so if TA end caps are all that is available. Why are these sold only with whole hub assemblies and not as separate spares?! I can't believe how hard it is to find these things...

FYI some of the current Race Face hubs share the same end caps and freehub bodies. I purchased some last year from Bikeman.com, I reached out to them asking if they had anything that would work (sent pics of the hub I had) and Forrest Carver quickly got back with a link to a kit with the exact ones I needed.

Is it just a rebadged 3-pawl Formula? There should be easy availability if you can work that out as I went through similar trying to swap my fat bike Formula driver from HG to XD and I think I bought a "Specialized Formula XD driver freehub" and a "SRAM XD Driver Freehub Body for 746 Rear Hub" as they were both the same thing.

Yes, Salsa, Sram, Race Face, and probably a few others rebadge these Formula hubs.....but there are slight model differences over the years in the hub make, you just have to make sure it's the correct version

This is great info! I will try reaching out to Bikeman.com. Here is a pic of my hub & driver. I cannot pull the driver all the way off by hand but I can count that it has 4 pawls. It also seems like there is a manufacture date of 05/30/2015 which might narrow it down more. It doesn't say Formula on my hub, but I have seen 'Salsa Formula' stamped on other hubs that look very similar to mine. Formula's website of its most current hubs also shows drive side end caps with the same 'XD Compatible Only' logo as my cap. I'll also look into Sram and Race Face for other options.
