I'm seeing "made in the usa from global components" under one set of their road wheels but none of the mtb ones. I'm assuming that means they lace them up here with Asian rims. Would be cool if they did more than that but no indication they do.

I see that stuff in my industry a lot.

Trek says they are, I guess I haven't fact checked them.

They used to lean heavily into the MUSA status of their OCLV stuff. It seems they've quietly stepped back from that, tho -- I never see it mentioned anymore.

Also, I might not be looking in the right place(s).

Nobody is going to be vague about domestic manufacturing. These are made in Asia

Astral only makes light of their in-house alloy rim production. If they manufactured carbon rims in-house, they would let everyone know.
