laser vs d-light spokes

Still working specking my wheel build. I was wondering if anyone has some real world experience with d-light vs laser spokes. Is there going to be a noticeable difference in flex / compliance between the two spokes? I was originally thinking of going d-light, but started to wonder if the laser would be better for the front and d-light for the rear.

This build is going to a 28mm IW carbon rims for a 29" short travel trail bike (Ripley).

Definitely stick with 3x lacing for Lasers and 28H.

Personally, for 28H, I'd want a 1.6-1.7mm cross section diameter. Too bad Wheelsmith discontinued the DB14. DT Competition Race (1.6mm) would be another option.

I really like the Pillar PSR Triple Butted series - The 1.6 and 1.7 are light, strong and cheaper than Sapim.

I'm running PSR TB2017, 28H 3x lacing, on chinese carbon rim on the front of my Ripley. I'm running PSR TB2018, 28H 3x lacing, on a Spank 350 rim on the front of the enduro bike.
