So I am swapping out my shimano 445 crankset on my 2004 Kona Dawgmatic with a XT set with hollotech and need a little advice. I have replaced a BB before without issues but realize that the XT BB and crankset has a different type of BB and crankset that requires spacers to insure proper allignment. From what I have read, you need to know the correct number of spacers for the specific frame to install this crankset properly, is that correct? Does anyone know where I might be able to find this information for my specific frame? Thanks in advance.
