The chainstay protection and noise mitigation is pretty weak on this bike. It's not a deal breaker, but there are much better designs out there from other manufacturers. Just add some extra protection on the bottom front of the chainstay if you don't want the carbon to get all scratched up, not a big deal.howdy guys - i'm interested in a ripmo v2 - just after some long term users help
how has the frame held up? and problems with bushings? creaking and general wear and tear?
how noisy is the bike? pretty silent or as the chainstay protector looks pretty useless is chain slap a issue? and generally any other QC problems to note before so i can get the frame protected in the right areas?
also what do you think about the possibility of a new one being released any time? ripmo v1 was 2018 v2 2020 and maybe one this year?
any help appreciated! im coming from a 2021 stumpy (which is awesome) but i want something that will handle rougher terrain better but still climb better
VHS Slapper tape works better than any aftermarket stuff I've ever tried yet.Any suggestions or photos on applying more chainstay protection? I’ve ride wrapped mine but thinking some thicker material might be helpful in a few places. Would love to see some examples

It is, it's the Trail version. Not much to say on installation, measure, trim, install, trim some more if needed etc.Is that the STFU Bike? Curious which model you have, and any tips for installation on the ripmo?

Fox suggestions are just generic and not specific to the bike kinematicsdo most V2 owners with the fox fork/suspension use the fox suggestions for setting the compression/dampening or do you use the ibis traction tuning suggestions? How do I know if its fox vs ibis tune on the damper(s)? My 4 digit tune id is D66H, not much info from the fox website.....I purchased the V2 thru N+1 bikes online, so I'm not sure if they just sent me similar parts with the Ibis frame or actual "ibis tuned" fox suspension....If it’s a brand new bike with fox suspension use Ibis settings. If you buy aftermarket fox stuff then use fox settings. It’s not as much about kinematics as it is about the tune on the damper. Ibis is one of the few brands that changes the tune in their stock fox forks as well as rear shock (on the X2), so keep that in mind if it’s a traction tuned fox fork/X2 that came with your new Ripmo.
