Available in Star Destroyer Grey and Bug Zapper Blue, the new Ripmo V2 has a one degree slacker head angle, improved lower link protection, updated dropper post cable routing, more progressive and coil compatible, and it's a smidge stiffer.

Your better bet is to have your Wrench Science person contact their Ibis rep. Unfortunately won't likely speed up the delay, but better shot at finding info on your specific order. Contacting Scot, I wouldn't expect more than what he replied.Congratulations, you are a lucky man!
I've had a medium V2 frame on order with Wrench Science since February. I've been in contact with Scot Nicol at Ibis multiple times since April when the frame was originally supposed to ship. I always get the same response; "Unfortunately I do not have a way to check on your order" and "The supply chain has been greatly impacted by the pandemic. Our normal lead times on parts have doubled, tripled or more."
Thing is the only items coming from Ibis are the medium frame and the X2 shock. It's pretty frustrating they cannot provide any information. I would have switched to an Evil Wreckoning or Specilized Enduro months ago if there had been better transparency from Ibis.
Would love to hear if anyone else has received a medium V2 ordered after February!
Believe me, that has been going on as well. WR rep and sales manager tell me they have tried repeatedly to get better info on the status of the order. They tell me my frame was to come from out of stock they ordered before the V2 was released. To date, they have only received a couple of large frames from their order. They tell me Ibis does not issue any tracking information until products are shipped.Your better bet is to have your Wrench Science person contact their Ibis rep. I see on the ibis B2B website that the X2 is "available soon". Could be why you have not gotten your frame yet.Congratulations, you are a lucky man!

The Ripmo ship date is pretty far out there too.I see on the ibis B2B website that the X2 is "available soon". Could be why you have not gotten your frame yet.

I was one of the two lucky ones that received their large V2 frames from Wrench Science. They told me I was lucky because of the most recent fires and having to shut down again. I heard that Ibis is in the red due to COVID and the fires and not being able to get enough frames out. I am sure that will change in due time. FYI, I did see a grey medium on craigslist for 5200 if you cant wait?Believe me, that has been going on as well. This experience is certainly making the cast for the direct to consumer model. My son ordered a YT Izzo in June with a six week estimate to delivery. He received it third week of July!
I ordered a large frame through my LBS but it was uncertain when/if it would arrive, so I cancelled it and managed to find a complete bike a few weeks later. Then two days after that the frame arrived!Wish Ibis would give a better indication of what's going on. I've been speaking to a couple of shops to try and get hold of a ripmo in the UK. There are only a few random stock bikes that have recently become available all M or L that aren't my size (XL). 2 shops I spoke to have now specifically delisted Ibis from their sites and won't take any more orders because they're not getting any information about when orders will turn up and they don't want to put their customers in that position.
One shop placed an order back in March and they've had to tell their customer it won't be coming until "some time" next year now. I know things have been difficult this year but this level of uncertainty over a mountain bike is crazy. I've always had a great experience with Ibis but I couldn't sit around for another 6 months wondering if when I'm going to get my order. There are plenty of great bikes out there.
Do you know if that shop still has that frame and what size/color it is? Also, I hear ya about the new geo. My take is that the steep seat tube belongs more on bikes intended to be ridden in steep terrain, like the Ripmo or other light enduro to full enduro bikes. Like you said, the geo feels best when climbing steep trails. On flatter or rolling terrain, it can be less comfortable and put more pressure on your hands than if it was a bit slacker. I live in the Sierras so it works well on most trails but not everywhere.I ordered a large frame through my LBS but it was uncertain when/if it would arrive, so I cancelled it and managed to find a complete bike a few weeks later. Anyway, I kept the bike and have changed some parts to make it work better for me.
The inline seat dropper was a problem because I didn't want to sit too far forward. So I've ordered a setback from 9point8.
Makes me wonder whether they should have reigned back the STA a little; say 74.5-75 degrees for those riders who feel cramped with the new geo.
It's interesting that at 5ft 11" with normal proportions, I had to push the seat back on its rails and swap to a 70mm stem. I understand the rationale behind the new geo. But it seems like a big trade off. They say the benefit is on steep climbs, but for many riders that might only represent 5 percent of their total ride. Then for the rest of the time you're stuck in the attack position with all your weight on your hands and shoulders.
It's a generalisation. But it frustrates me that manufacturers decide on a new standard and expect everyone to get in line (excuse the pun).
The way the press have accepted this is also bewildering to me. Except they aren't exactly impartial!
Anyway, good luck finding a bike Trusz.
Cheers.

I have a Ripmo AF so obviously there is a lot of stuff that is the same including the bushes. I spent hours trying to chase down a cracking/creaking noise and couldn't get it to go away until a couple of days ago. I pulled the rear end of the bike apart and the BB and the headset at least 3 times and some areas 6 times. I literally went through every moving part on the bike at least 3 times. I kept cleaning and greasing everything with Slickoleum yet the noise wouldn't go away. It sounded like it was coming from around the front shock mount.Anyone else getting a lot of creaks from their new Ripmo? I'm three rides and 25 miles in and the creaking is insane.
First ride: Green and blue trails only. Fairly tame ride as I just wanted to get a feel for the bike. No creaks. Drove my bike to the trails.
Second ride: Black trails. Rode my bike to the trails from my house. Started to get a bit more aggressive on this ride. Lots of hucking off smaller rock ledges to flat. Heard a few creaks towards the end of the ride. Creaking continued sporadically on the 3 mile pedal home on the road. Only seems to happen while pedaling but not 100% sure. Doesn't seems to be a BB issue.
Third ride: Double black trails. Drove my bike to the trails. Super aggressive riding. Charging through the rough stuff. Plowing up tech features. Hucking off 2+ foot rock ledges to flat. Bike was creaking up a storm about halfway in. It was so bad that I was wondering if I should even be riding the bike.
The creaks sound like they are coming from the headset but I know that sound carries through the frame well so it could be from anywhere. Are there any known creaks that are endemic to the Ripmo? Just wanted to check in with the hive mind before I start poking around the bike. I'm not able to replicate the creaks when I'm bunny hopping and cycling the suspension in the street in front of my house. It only seems to appear around mid ride but to be honest I've have not paid super close attention.
