Any advice as to how to table top? I was told by a friend to do the following: Turn to the right, extend and push my left arm down while pulling my right arm close, and kinda pull outwards w my right foot. My right foot is my "good foot" if that makes any difference. I keep trying these steps but i just cant get it flat!!! DO u guys have any advice or even videos that will help me? thanks!

It sounds like you might have your pushing and pulling backwards. Here are few tips that helped me. It looks like you are trying to lay your bike to the left, so I'll write the tips for that direction.

1) Push your right hand towards your left hip.
2) Lean your bike to the left.
3) Focus on trying to bring your feet up to your butt.
4) Lean over your bike to stay balanced. The flatter you get it, the more you need to lean. Unless you're on a hip, then you don't have to lean as much.
5) Keep your top knee down near the top tube for style.

Just keep practicing. Tables are a very hard trick to do well.

Here's a pic of the raddest table ever... and it's off of a bunnyhop...

i have a question about tables too...my problem is i lead with my left foot but i can only do a semi decent table if its to the right. i can't do it for sh!t if i try doing it to the left. i'd like to learn it to the left so i can do spins with them and such. does it matter what side you do it to depending on your footing if you want to get them flat? i can see the pic cru posted hes doing them the way i do...

No, it doesn't really matter which foot you have forward or which way you do them. Most people do them different than the pic I posted. That is, they turn their bars in the direction of their lead foot. Turning your bars in the opposite way of your lead foot (like the Vander pic above) is called goofy footed. That's the way I do them and it sounds like that's the way you do them.

Some people, like Brian Foster, can do them both ways equally well. But, learning a table to your un-natural way is extremely hard.

Here is a pic of a "regular" footed table...

thanks for the help. ya i do them goofy footed, sorry if my explanation wasn't too clear. never knew the proper term for it. its weird because it feels more natural for me to do them goofy rather then regular. guess im naturally goofy:D :D
