I have a 1997-98 Cannondale Super V 2000 with a worn out headshok. Are there any adapter kit available to convert it to a conventional front shock? I’ve read a few articles on the conversion, but the part numbers weren’t listed

A 2000 was one of the higher end bikes, does it have the SL fork with the 5 position dial on top? If so, that was a good fork, It would definitely be worth having it serviced by MendonCyclesmith as Steadite recommends, and it would be a hell of a lot cheaper. I don't know, but I would expect any new fork still made for a 26 to be low end quality.

I got a blue Headshok Fatty 70 from 1997. Works great. Don't go convention dual stanchion fork - it will kill the bike's handling and ruin resale value.
