I might finally break down and buy a gravel rig.. Mainly to replace my very light but 20+ yro rd bike, that i dont particularly trust the integrity of anymore at high speeds (carbon seat stays/fork bonded to AL w/ some corrosion for good measure..). So would probably be looking on the road end of gravel bikes, but not particuraly picky.. It'll mainly be used when its too sloppy to ride trail, i have a lot of nice back gravel roads around here, but still a lot of pavement too connect them.. Tempted by the GT Pro / Pro LE deals posted, or the Luaf Seigla at outlet, but id likely swap out some/a lot of parts on either to make it reasonably light, and definitely a wheelset, so a frame or frame/fork probably make more sense if could find a similar steal on a frame only.. Dont need massive tire clearance, 48 should be fine.. thanks

I have a GT Grade Carbon, and find it to be a great bike. I like the “gravel travel) rear triangle, which works as GT claims, and I also like the threaded bottom bracket. It also has great tire clearance, I’m running 50mm tires on mine.
