It's Prime Day once again. And for the second time this year, we've scoured Amazon for deals and come away unimpressed.
There are sales on the usual assortment of household items, gadgets, TVs, etc. Still, in the majority of cases, we found that online cycling retailers such as Competitive Cyclist and Jenson USA are currently offering better sales with fewer instances of bait-and-switch tactics, such as raising prices immediately before the start of Prime Day or promoting a heavily discounted item in only one size.
As a result, we're skipping Prime Day again to focus on competing sales from online retailers that give back to the cycling community. Speaking of supporting the cycling industry, many local bike shops are still swimming in overstock. It's worth swinging by your LBS to see if they have any sales.
If you find a great deal you'd like to share with fellow mountain bikers, please add it in the comments.

Thoughts on the closeout Orange Crush models? There were a few more sizes yesterday, but they are going slowly. Geometry seems a bit older with the slacker 73 degree SA.

So glad I picked up the older 2022 Farley 5 frame to build as a spare fat bike. Ugly in the photos, actually awesome blue fade in reality. That 2023 Farley 5 is just as puke ugly as it shows in the photos. 🤮🤮🤮 I wouldn’t even ride that complete bike at $200 only over frame price.
Truth is stranger than fiction. I like to pass fun experiences and stories to keep memories alive. Grandma passed in early April at 99. Probably my favorite person. Gramps is rolling up on 101. Many great memories and an end to an era.
I could tell you their colorful history but don't want to outdo anyone.
