I would like to optimize my chainline and run Absolute black oval ring
Currently it has SRAM direct mount 0 offset and the chainline is a bit too far away from the center of fram and makes some noise when on the largest cog but does not skip nor fall off.
Bike is a F29 Lefty 2012 with sram 1x10 (current 0 offset direct drive xsync chainring)
QUESTION:
How are AB (or other) Chainring offset measured ?
Everyone assumes that its measured from contact face of chainring to the crankarm, to the center of the chainline (chainring tooth) but i think thats not accurate and hence i want to confirm.
