26 X 4.8 Slicks?width-wise, but don’t want to expose my rim edges too much. Thanks in advance for your help!!

Hey guys and gals! I’m new here but have been lurking around for a bit. I have a fat tire trike with 26 X 4.8 Maxxis Minions at all three wheels. It’s awesome in the winter but a bugger to turn in the summer. Therefore, I’m looking for a pair of slicks for the rear. Anybody know of any, preferably budget conscious? I’m willing to go down a couple of tenths but don’t want to damage my wheels.

Vee tire might make a larger slick, check their website. Otherwise maybe look for some surly big fat Larry's or jumbo Jim 4.8s.

Thanks but I think the longitudinal tread pattern is going to cause the same problem I’m trying to get away from. The price sure is attractive though!
