Ha, we had to let a couple of Specialized and one Cannondale in the Tribe, on a temp basis, with a promise that they will go ride a Yeti during the demo next month.:D

Sure, we will bing the beer.

Once my lungs are back, you guys will have to come to my side of town and ride Sampson Park. It's an azz beating but afterwards when can jump in my pool to cool off and grill some burgers and dogs.

Let's shoot for Boulder or NS next week.

Congrats!!

I demo'd an ASR-5. Very nice bike and enjoyed the demo very much, but decided to go w/ a different bike purchase, but all is well.

You'll love the ASR-5. It does it all w/ ease.

When she got home, I told her it was trash but the LBS was doing a free repacement of it and it would be ready in about a week. She bought the story so the surprise is still on!!!!

I may be out. I didn't even think about the fact that she was going to want to ride all weekend so I guess I will be riding with her. I don't think that would be fun for you guys as the pace is quite slow. I think she wants to ride RL on Sat and HS on Sunday.

I rode HS yesterday for a couple of laps. I tried to ride hard but bonked big time.

I have to run back up to MD at lunch as I discovered that her tubeless tires have tubes in them:nono:
It would be easier for me to just convert them myself but it's the principle of things. They also had to put a 3 ring crank on hers for now because the 2x10 didn't show on the truck, maybe the right cranks will be there today??????

So I just got ahold of Yeti Today, and they said they still havn't shipped my bike yet.. I ordered it almost 3 weeks ago and they said it was shipping late last week, but no.. it still hasnt shipped yet. They said they havnt shipped any domestic orders out this week,only the international orders.. The worst part is that they said it was just sitting there in a box, not like they were waiting on parts or anything..

I dont know if they know how close I am to canceling my ASR-7 and ordering An S-works Enduro.. I understand they are a small company and busy and such, but its so easy to slap a FedEx label on and send it on its way.. Its not a 3 week process to ship a bike..

I am just ready to ride and would have liked to have some time on the new bike before my first race 2 weekends from now..

I work at the shop.. and there was a smoking deal on some S-works bikes. but My manager talked to them there and they said that they "think" it will be shipped out this week. I just dont see why it should take them 3 weeks to ship a bike for a shop employee.. I am just getting anxious because I have all my parts ready to put on the bike and I wont have a bike for another week now..

That's weird as my wife's bike shipped last Tuesday, which was one week later than we thought but still short of 2 weeks.

I know.. which is why I was shocked that they told my no domestic order had gone out.. I just want them to take my damn money and give me my bike..

My ASR-7 came in yesterday and I got it all built up and got to check it out.. I am going to be happy with this bike.. It will be a great fit for me..

Anyways I will run over my changes out of the box and then bombard this thread with pics..

Biggest thing was swap the Fox Float for the Lyric 2 Step air.. I ditched the carbon bar it came with for a ENVE DH bar, 800mm and 225 grams.. Swapped the three speed FD out for a 2 Speed FD and swapped the triple out for a double plus bash.. Put a Specialized Command post in place of the Thompson post, and lastly went some Specialized tubeless tires instead of Schwalbe

Get ready for a Photo Bomb...
