When I was looking for a Spur last year, there were only 3 types of posters on Pinkbike:
  • the scammer
  • the one who wanted way more for the Spur than what the market is currently bearing
  • the dealer showing a somewhat unique Spur (the older more desirable colors and/or a a custom build) but when you reached out to them, it was sold but can give you a deal on a different one.
These latter ones continued listing the ones that they told me just sold long after I gave up on PB and found one elsewhere.

I also have a 130mm Pike ultimate with a custom damper I got the fluid focus work done I'm curious what you have.

Spur rides phenomenal with the 130 Pike with the custom damper in the ccdb in line on the back.

I don't really find the wandering on the steeps... I just scoot forward it a bit
Shockcraft in New Zealand. I also have a Cane Creek Inline for the rear.

V1 Spur owner here with a not-spur-specific question :)

I have an XX1 AXS shifter and derailleur. If I were to upgrade my frame to Spur V2 with UDH, could I still use my shifter/derailleur or will I need UDH-specific components? Bit confusing with the relatively recent introduction of transmission also.

I think I will be fine since UDH just means a universal hanger and I'd just mount my derailleur onto that, but I wanted to make sure before I start "browing" :sneaky:

Your parts will transfer over just fine. I have an old-school AXS shifter on a UDH bike with no issues.

Is this good deal on this fork or should i keep looking? I’m using my Spur more as a trail bike and need more fork.

it is to me. I did paid over $150 more for the Kashima coat over a month ago. Also, my riding buddy says the fork is great for the elite model on his SC Tallboy 5. as for me, I have the Kashima coat 34 on both the Spur and Tallboy 5. get the kashima for $50 more if you can.

Thanks, I picked it up. The kashima would clash with the deep sea green, so I got the matte black elite.

That’s nearly what it costs a dealer. Good deal.
