Thanks for replies I've looked everywhere and even contacted giant who cant help as its too old think its a 2006 I have measured the inside to inside and it is bang on 150mm. This is the wheel I was going to buy with 150mm hub

The specs I found say Formula thru axle. Measure the rear dropout diameter and see what might fit.

Note: Before this goes farther I have to ask where this little project is going...seems like more trouble than it's worth.

Around that time period I had a thru-bolt conversion from Hadley that worked in open drop-outs. They were far superior to QRs. Maybe that hub will accept one of those. ???

I had another bike that I swapped to a simple nutted axle wheel because the rear triangle was sooo flexy it needed some stiffening and QR wasn't doing it.

One of those might be possible.

Get a standard old 150mm 12mm bolt through hub/wheel.

Get one of these in 148mm eBay item# 284393243457
Or some of these: eBay item#285463694042

Then look for an extra long qr from somewhere.

They are a really awkward bike to get a rear wheel for these days :(

...edit....
Just found halo doing the conversion axles:
halo 12mm qr converter axle
