Threaten? With what? Sounds insane.
The most they could come up with was cutting me off from their product. Which turned out to be not the threat they thought it was.

Truely a bizarre experience. But one that really shows the character of the people involved.

Sounds wildly ineffective. If the customer really want the part and want you to install it, cant they can just order it for themselves and hand it to you?

Indeed. All it succeeded in doing was torpedoing their own reputation. I'm still shaking my head about it.

I am in the market for a new fork on my intense tazer. Currently have a dual crown and want to go single crown currently the fork is 170mm but would go 160mm. Looking at Mezzer, ohlins, dvo onyx and maybe add a smashpot to something. I have been interested in manitou for years but never ridden one. I am 165 lbs, ride somewhat aggressive. The mezzer interest me with all the knowledge on here and tuneablity. Are the CSU creaking issues fixed? If I was to get one would I need to do any shim mods or bushing right off the bat. Any direct comparisons to the onyx or ohlins 36 or 38? Thanks

The Onyx is in a totally different league to the other two.

Get what ever is easiest to fit a Smashpot too, everthing else is redundant
That doesn't narrow it down though.
How about the ones that don't need an aftermarket spring system?

I knew the answer but posed the question for a technical reason as to why it falls short...
Spring, chassis and damper are a long way behind the others. I can't think of a single metric it is near the top of.

Is the mezzer at 180 as stiff as a Zeb?

The Mezzers IS Not as stiff as the zeb with over 200 Grams more weight BUT similar to a fox 38 which is a good Thing in General. The fork still manages although ITS dimensions and stiffness to Not Beat the Hands and generate very much GRIP on off Camber sections.

Hi folks, I'm sure this has been asked but I got lost searching 247 pages of info 😅

I've got an earlier fork and I'm running my rebound fully open, which shim should I remove (so that I can add more damping and not be at the limit of external adjustment).

Also, I was thinking of getting the shim stack tuned bt TF or similar- do you guys think its worthwhile or is it pretty good as is?

Nah,geht the cartridge tuned By dougal or NSR Racing. In Relation top price/Performance ratio far more Worth The money
