Another successful attempt. Maybe I can do one every month of the season? Today was special, with the sea of clouds in the valley. Descending through the fog in the dark and only a helmet light was a little less special, so hard to see.

Excellent traction on Dogmeat, some softer spots on Overgrown but not terrible.

I ran up Oveegrown and Dogmeat yesterday and there is that one spot on Overgrown that is swamp like but only that one spot near the top of that trail. Good work getting after it!

Props on running it, I don't think I would enjoy that on the uphill or the downhill!
I walked that muddy section of overgrown. There is also a tree down, about half a mile from top of overgrown, with a big pile of horse s*** right before it on the uphill side... Which makes it challenging to try and hop the tree. No issues on dogmeat.

Had an inadvertent Dog Meat Plus Roller Coaster no dab today. Upon no dabbing Dogmeat at the top, ran into a serial killer who made it clear that I was to be his next victim by way of staring at me with seething hatred after I said hello. So, I did the smart thing and took a right at the intersection and kept going. No dabbed the roller coasters too so that makes me special. I think those pitches might be steeper but Dogmeat is clearly the harder of the options as DM is just so relentless. I'll say this, every time I ride this, I have a mantra rolling through my head that says, "Why are you doing this? Why are you doing this? repeat". I rolled up Priest from the bottom. On my way down, vultures were literally cirling me and for good reason.

There is no way in hell I can no-dab it right now, but I vow to do this ride before 4/1.

It doesn't help that I can't let myself deviate from my usual route of riding up St. Joe's first, then riding up Overgrown with no stops, and then taking on Dogmeat. However, even if I got an airlift to the bottom of Dogmeat, I'd still probably max out my cardio output before cleaning that last wall.

A little bumparooni...would hate for anyone to forget about this critically acclaimed event. Any more potential takers? Ends 4/1. Cheers!!

That climb up OG is maybe harder than DM right now...chunky in spots. Good luck...we are all rooting for you!

Get the air lift to the bottom of Dogmeat ... Clean dogmeat keep going and clean the two roller coaster hills on the Kennedy ridge for the "Glory Win" 😜 Hell I used to walk some of OG just to save energy cause the start is the intersection anyway.

Yay.

I'm not in my best shape right now but slow and steady did it. I had one sketchy part very near the top after all the hardest parts. I got way off to the left due to going too slow, eyes filled with sweat, and mind wandering, but I managed to get back on track.

Right frickin' on! Very near the top is the high stress zone because you are just so close. Way to go gettit and to the board you go:

Congrats form49b! Sounds like it wasn't easy! ^ Yeah I'm quite a few clicks past 60. Probably the oldest guy last year and the year before. But alas now ... Just an old Bull wandering around in the Azul living on past glory.

February no-dab accomplished. That leaves me with only March to go. Chilly compared to the summer of the last few weeks, and getting looser. So much poison oak lurking along Overgrown it's scary.
Nice work!! Looser was my nickname in high school. I think that's what they were saying.

You're welcome bro! The coming rain will be good for the last chance ... up against the wall of fame for sure! Yesterday I was out there with Dan the Man on his awesome custom DV9 IBIS Hardtail. After climbing Kennedy we went partially down Priest to the Dealbreaker steep water bar to get him fired up about someday getting Dogmeat done. His bike is basically 20 ish pounds only like the Salsa and geared 32x52 XX1. I managed to clean the Dealbreaker plus a few yards only yesterday. Dan will give it a go later. Wall #9 on the DV9 ... would be fine!

Well put me on the board success today. After failing last Sunday I was hoping for a little more rain yesterday so traction wasn't the greatest. My goal this year was to no dab Dogmeat turn right at the top and no dab the Kennedy rollers, mission accomplished. For me the Kennedy rollers have always been tougher because of the steepness but the traction much better. Next year I'm definitely going to start earlier in the season that hill is very humbling!

Way to go get it!! I imagine the rains helped a bit but it's still no easy task. Congrats!! I think the rollers are steeper by a bit but not as sustained. Put together and woof.
