This new ARC absolutely crushes it! Climbs like a scalded monkey up a tree and can drop the knar supremely well--even the super chunk with big 24" ledges and 2-3' drops! The more I ride this bike, the more I am impressed with its capacity.
Totally get this! Thanks for sharing. I had the best ride yet on mine earlier this week. It was just SO right. Everything just hooked up and flowed perfectly, both climbing and descending!
Happy trails

I'll post my large ARC Turq soon - been riding it for a week now, and set several local XC KOMs (KOMs for fastest of 2021, to be fair - though our local trails change enough year-to-year that it's hard to compare a 2014 time to today's trail conditions). It's 23 lbs on the nose with pedals, dropper, and no stupid parts (2.3" S-Works XC tires, likely going to a lightweight 2.4 or 2.6 soon in any case). SC 34 120mm on there now, but a new SID Ultimate on the way (I love that fork on my Spur).

Seems like it's perfect for what I wanted - a fast, fun XC-trail bike that can blast a 1.5-2.5 hour ride at high speed.

Did you go with a Pike or Sid? I've got both and the verdict is still up for me on the Sid Ultimate.
That's a Pike Ultimate 130. I think I made a good choice. This bike tracks like a dream, especially on downhills. Just got back from 1500 feet up over 16 miles with my buddy, and man this bike was awesome. I think I made a good decision.

Is it fairly easy to pull up the front end? Seems like it would be.
I didn't think so. I felt that it climbed better than expected, and did not experience any lifting of the front end under load. That's only one ride, so might need more data to be more conclusive, but I don't expect that to be an issue.

My bad- I meant lifting the front end off small jumps. On purpose. :)

Sorry, I thought you meant on climbs does the front end lift easily. I only had a couple small jumps on the trails we were on today, but seems quite nice in the air. I would definitely say I need more time with real jumps to test that. Today's ride was pure XC/trail. No whoops or jumps other than natural ones.

Yeah I think I'm putting the pike 130 back on. The Sid ultimate at 120 makes the handling a little to xc for my taste.

I'm hoping to split the difference with a Slack-R headset and the SID. 120mm is what I'm after (I stand to climb - a lot - and prefer the shorter travel and lighter weight) but I'd like to slow down the steering a bit. That said, for my purposes in this area, the approximately 67.5 degree HA is just fine.

Maybe a dumb question, are all the ARC builds a TURQ frame? On the site it only says Turq next to the T builds and not the C builds when selecting the build. But then when I received my C2 build it had a Turq frame. Swapped my carbon wheels and XX1 drivetrain over from my Intense Sniper and this thing is light

That is an error on Yeti's site (or there for a future plan?)

But yes, all ARC frames are Turq
