Ironhorse Warrior small frame full suspensionI found this on Craigslist a couple days ago, and I'm wondering if it will be a good starter full suspension bike? I believe it's a 2005 Iron Horse warrior DS SE, the seller doesn't know much about I ( he's selling it for his son). It's in good condition, cleaned and tuned. I managed to negotiate down to 350,and now I'm wondering if I should pull the trigger and buy it? I've never owned a full suspension bike, but I like to ride xc and all mountain trails. I've searched the Internet and I could t find much about it, except that the frame is pretty bomber and its a tad bit on the heavy side. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Check out the bicycle blue book. If the price is right, and you ride it and like it, buy it.

Might be a good idea to take it to a lbs to have them check it out if you don't know to much about fs bikes. Iron horse made good bikes when they were still around. Seems like an alright deal, without seeing the bike in person.

I'd probably drop $350 for that... Provided it checks out ok.
Thanks for the replies everyone, I'll be going to look at It tomorrow. Are most bike shops cool with taking a look over it for me? If I end up just checking it out myself, what should I be looking for specific to a full suspension bike?

I bet any LBS would look it over for you, might charge a minimal fee? I'd think it would be good practice to throw them a little business in one form or the other if they help you out. The bigger question may be if the seller will be willing to let you take it somewhere...
