Being new to Mtn. Biking I was looking to get off the $100 Wal-mart Mongoose. Concidering advice from a riding buddy, MANY test rides & my budget this is what I got. I can't get enough of riding it!!
Last November this bike got stolen from my place of work. Of course the cops have had no luck finding it. Last week I took delivery of my new bike to replace my stolen one. I now have a Trek 8000. I figured if I had to replace it I might as well take a step up. I would like to have had another Specialized but due to some politics and policy changes at my LBS this is what I ended up with. I have been on 1 ride on the Trek and was impressed. I will post a pic with more details about the new bike and the circumstances behind getting it shortly.
