I have an opportunity to sell my 2011 epic 29'er and buy a 2012 for about $750 difference.

Both have had a similar amount of use, both have XX so its not a matter of switching to XTR, mine also has 2012 brakes so that isn't an issue.

I know the 2012 has the brain adjuster on top and rear shock has Kashima coat but are these alone enough to want to upgrade? Any other differences that would make switching worthwhile? I have read something about different front derailler mount too but i haven't had any issues there.

Very good point but will have original receipt so should be able to get away with it should something go seriously wrong.
