Where do I come from?

i would like to know where is built the mojo carbon frame?
where is the factory?
someone has pics of how they built them?

Tom from Ibis posting. The answer to your question is not a simple as you may think. So instead of saying that the Mojo is made here or there I'll give you the necessary information and let you decide. The carbon components of the frame are made in China, just outside Hong Kong. The aluminum parts - such as the links and seat clamp - come from Taiwan. The bearings are from Japan, and the Fox shock comes from the US. We gather all these components here in Scotts Valley, California and assemble it into a frame. So knowing all that, where does the Mojo come from? Depends on your perspective, I guess.

Our bikes are made in a factory in China by a small producer. The company is called Inda, and they are in the Shenzhen area where much of today's carbon manufacturing is coming from (Kestrel, Specialized, Colnago, Scott, Cervelo, Trek, Merlin, Orbea, Felt, Ridley and a bunch more for that matter)

 

now that is genuinely interesting and a more robust example of how globalisation can really benefit all (compared to my ironic post earlier).

I expect its the same region that is producing cutting edge carbon skis too, and certainly all of the new generation pre-empregnated carbon weave that gave the Ibis team the stuff they needed to give form to their dream.

Kinda debunks the "race to the bottom" adage. :thumbsup:
