Not stripped. As you would head out the door (minus water bottles).

Weighed mine this morning and was shocked at how portly the old girl had gotten. Size XL Salsa Warbird. 25.6 lbs as pictured.

Complete tool kit including chain tool, multi-tool, short length of chain and 2 QL's, 2 tubes, patch kit, bacon strips and tool, 2 CO2 cartridges. Frame pump, triangle bag, top tube bag and taillight.

Started life at a svelte 18.7 lbs. with 700c wheels and GK slick tires. The fork and post don't help (well... they actuall help a lot. Just not in the weight department). Neither to the big 650b tires. The cassette is a paper weight. I would put her on a diet, but she's a ton of fun as is. I'll just have to work a bit harder on the climbs.

I think mine's around 35 lbs since it's heavier than the trail bike (32.5). With heavy stock wheels and tires and a steel fork and a frame bag of tools/tube/pump/etc, but all I need is a lot of dynamite to blast through some of the hills and flatten the terrain to make things easier. ;)

I have the Otso Waheela Steel(carbon fork). Mines is about 24.5lbs unloaded with the stock 700x43mm GK SK+ & with 29x2.1 Schwalbe Thunder Burts in that light casing. With my normal set of bags, tools, bottle cages(w/one 21oz bottle) & 29x2.1 XC tires not the TB closer to ~27lbs. More with 40oz bottles & the 21oz bottle on there. I eventually want to move to a more supple carbon handlebar & seat post, which should make it the same weight as before the 40oz bottle w/water is on.

Large Canyon Grizl, 20.5 lbs ready to ride. Only upgrade that dropped weight was the wheels (1250g Farsports).

There is some potential weight savings in the drivetrain (GRX 400), but it works great and I use the full range on every ride, so no real urge to upgrade.

Hi there! I am looking for buying a Canyon Grizl AL 7 Susp. Is your an Aluminum? Can you share soma impressions about the bike?
Great bike, by the way.
Thank you.

This post made me run into garage with scale. Outfitted as-is from last big ride....
Large Open Up with 2x di2, 3 cages, 1 stem bag, 1 bar bag, power meter pedals, seat bag (tube, 1 tire lever, credit card, glueless patch kit that is useless with sealant residue, chainbreaker, Park tire boot, bacon strips and multitool), Varia 515, Spurbell, Lezyne mini pump/holder, and heavy 105 11-34 cassette on Reserve 25 650b with Terreno Dry = 20 pounds on the dot/9.07kg. Surprisingly light in my opinion.

Revel Rover. Size medium. SRAM Force AXS XPLR with Specialized carbon hover bars, two titanium cages, Reserve 650B 25 mm id wheels with Maxis 47mm tires. Shimano XTR SPD pedals. And a bell and blinky taillight. 19 lbs exactly. No bags etc.
I remember when sub-20 in a road bike was impressive/expensive. My Cannondale 2.0 with full DA was 19.5 and I was super proud of that in 1994. For a "all day ready" gravel bike to be under 20 is quite impressive IMHO (and also expensive).

Ran into the garage to check because I had a feeling my Niner RLT 9 RDO was going to be heavy with all the bags. With stuffled saddle bag, lights and front bag with more tools, weighed in at 22.5lbs. Bit surprised all that stuff adds almost 4 pounds.

Actually this thread started as a "Holy Sh*t is my bike heavy!" thread.... but ok... I'll play. I'm 205. Kitted with all day pack, probably 215-220. Plus my portly bike. You will definitely kick my ass.

Just had a blast on mine at RPI stage races last week!

My Wolverine is a friggin pig at 25 lbs but she rides nice. I could change things out to lighten her up but it's just not that important to me.

I did have her powder coated earlier this year. She was black and grey but I like color.

Oh and I clock in around 148.

My gravel bike was just under 20 lbs when I had lightweight drop bars and a 180 grams seat post, and without all the crap I always carry on the bike these days. The laden bike's weight these days is 23 lbs without water bottles. - I added a dropper post, slightly heavier gravel dropper bars, that have about 8 oz of gel padding below the handlebar tape, a bento box, and rear seat post tool bag with tools.

OTOH, I am spending most of my time riding my, almost new, 29er hard-tail/bike-packer. (has dropper post, and gravel drop bars.) It's riding weight is just under 28 lbs. It has a front SID SL Ultimate front fork and a lot larger tires. For my gravel road / longer-steep-climbs/ and rough steep descents, I am riding significantly faster overall on my 29er than my gravel bike. This is because I can descend so much faster than that rigid forking narrower tired grovel bike.

My Carbonda CFR707 is at 23.1 lbs with a heavy wheelset and 700x50c tires. It should get a lot lighter when I get around to building up a lighter wheelset and fitting some narrower tires.

I realize the weight is irrelevant since I weigh 205 and typically have close to 15 lbs of gear, tools, snacks, and water when I ride.

Right there with you. Add to that my wife rides an XS which weighs 20 lbs. loaded and she is a 115 lb. mountain goat. Makes for some long days climbing... but I get her back on the downhills. She can pedal as hard as she can and I can coast and still catch and pass her. Weight does have it's benefits. ;)

Specialized Sequoia-no name steel tubing-31 lbs ready to ride. Love the ride and feel of the bike. Don't even think about the weight until a thread like this pops up. :p

When the time comes and I need another bike I will definitely get another steel frame or possibly Ti if I have reached my financial goals in life. ;)

It weights more if I pack a can of beer and some fresh fruit with lunch. The bags combo makes a difference. I will knock or scrape dirt that gets caked on to probably reduce weight. It weighs more if I carry beer and food for friends.

When I got it I recall it was actually a few pounds lighter than the steel frame, metal wheels and more metal parts bikes it replaced. I'm not a racer or weight weenie type but fell for the ride and fit.

The weight might be novelty more than function because our Fargo weights a lot more. Both the Fargo and Routt 45 somehow let me sit on a bike up to hours more than the ones they replaced.

My Cross Check is 31lbs with its rack and basket, Teravail Cannonball 700x47 durable tires and not particular light wheels. I would like to build a second set of wheels to run lighter wheels and tires.

Since we are posting pics, My 29er hardtail that I prefer to ride these days over my gravel bike. 5 pounds heavier than my gravel bike. With the tire combination I am using now, almost as fast on the flats too.

If we are adding in body weight and the clothes, shoes, glasses and helmet, this old worn out body I have to work with these days is just under 200, and often up to 220 in the winter.
