What tubeless sealant is everybody using these days?

Time for me to buy some new sealant, and was wondering what folks have been using. Seems like there's new sealant coming out all the time now. I've used Stans, Orange, Bontrager, Trucker Co Sealant (Original), and Black Ox. Black Ox seems to have worked the best, but the stuff clogs up my valves more than all the other sealants I've tried combined.

I was using Orange and the original Stan's at the same time on different bikes.

The Orange kept clogging valve cores when letting air out of the tires to change tire pressure, and the Stan's didn't do it as bad. So now I use Orange everywhere. I figure if it can clog cores better, that's good.

With that said, neither have ever failed to seal a leak for me, so I have no idea if it matters. They both work better than the old "Slime" green stuff.

Haha! Your story took an unexpected twist at the end.

As an aside, when you are fiddling with the psi, do you make sure the valve is around 12 o'clock?

Last few years, I'm using Caffe Latex. For me it works better then Stan, which had issues sealing Schwalbe tires (I read somewhere it's actually Schwalbe issues, but thing is, also Schwalbe sealant is Stan in Schwalbe bottle, so same problems). With Caffe Latex it less of such issues for me, and it's almost impossible to get Orange sealant, so regardless how everyone are happy about it, it's no go for me :)

I used Stan's until the formula changed. Been using Orange Seal Endurance with excellent results for years. My buddy convinced me to try Muc Off, needless to say I was not impressed. Tires would not hold air even after adding additional sealant. Looks like my buddy gets a free quart of Muc Off. Going back to Orange Seal. Orange Seal basically creates a latex liner in your tire and when it's dry it's easy to peel out of your tire.

I rode Stan's for years with no problems aside from the occasional Stanimal--I actually used to look forward to seeing what shape it took. On a road trip a couple years ago, I could only find Orange, which has worked great. I can't say I notice a difference between Stan's and Orange. I don't think I have ever used any other product in 15+ years of tubeless riding.

I used Stans for years until I had problems with it weeping through Maxxis sidewalls and drying out too quickly. Switched to Orange which lasted much longer and did not weep. I switched back to Stans when the Orange did not seal a tiny 3mm wide slice in my tire and I had to plug it. Since then I have not had the problems I used to have with Stans.

I went from orange seal to endurance back to orange seal. Endurance lasts longer but I feel like the original orange seal seals better. Pick your poison I guess. Haven't run stans in a looooong time.

I feel like I am foolishly using Stans. Seems like the best recommendation is generally anything but Stans.
I learned hot to set up tubeless in late 2016.
I'm continually asked why I still use Stans with all the Stanimals that from.
I have yet to have a single glob of anything in my tires, 4 tires on 2 bikes now. most recent bike was purchased 12/2019.

The only time I've gone flat with Stans is the day a rock cut the sidewall open.

I did use Orange Seal, but at double the cost of Stans I don't see the benefit. I don't know how much more damaging a trail can be to tires so perhaps a more robust sealant is required for some.
I have the typical junk on a tail one would expect -however I don't have any cactus here.
