Ok so I had a stuck piston tried everything to get it working just couldn't I suspect its very "gummed up". Anyway, a brake bleed/fluid replacement was long overdue (I'm sure why the piston is gummed up) so I decided I'll just remove the pistons can clean out any gunk stuck in there. One of them I just pushed out using the brake lever and the pressure of brake fluid--the other one it appears you can remove using some sort of tool (see picture). I know you can also force it out using water with the brake bleed syringe but it looks like you can remove one side of the caliper so you can just push it out (see picture). Is there a special tool for that?

I agree
. Rebleed and get brake fluid all around the piston ... work in and out.. fluid... back in and out... watch the syndicate brake bleed from youtube..

Apple uses "pentalobe" screws on some of their phones, basically similar as 5 point torx. Likely it is not going to be "cost effective" to try and find proper key to open that cap. Likely you could use big enough flat head screw driver or fabricate correct width tool from flat iron bar or used metal file or something similar to unscrew that cap.

Compressed air would be my choice too to try pop that stuck piston out(with the other piston installed), but if the piston is stuck tightly, some other means might be needed. Using too much external force on the piston itself might be bad choice, as those are ceramic and tend to break easily...
