Wow, you guys are quite the group. I can't say I have ever brought beer on a ride, but I certainly put plenty down afterward. From the sounds of it you do group rides fairly often. There is no better way to learn new trails then to ride with those who know the territory. How would one (Curtis Gillen) go about tagging along with you guys sometime?

It's pretty easy to find us any Tuesday/ Thursday in either Tunnel or Otero parking lots around 330. Send me a message when you want to ride and I can tell you where to meet up.

forgot to mention that you have a great portfolio. keep adding to the bike pics :D

Riding with this crew on Saturday was the most fun I have had on the trails in a long time...thanks!

And yeah, Notaknob's description is spot on.
It was awesome riding w/you Shari..don't be a stranger.

Or doing shuttle runs down the green side of the Sandia's on a weekend.

Took a couple freinds up the Winsor (and back down) yesterday. Can't say we took beer on the ride, but we certainly had some cold ones waiting for us in the car at the end. That trail rocks and there was pretty much nobody on it. We passed maybe three or four riders and that was it. I decided to take my wifes 29er hardtail on this ride, which was certainly nice climbing up, but I wished I was on my Intense coming back down.

Thursdays huh? My schedule at home recently changed and I need to ride on Thursdays now. Been getting bored of riding alone lately. Would be nice to hit it with others. Isn't it pretty damn hot at that time of the day?

Hopefully the monsoons will help with the heat thing. A shower up here this afternoon cooled it down pretty nice. Your welcome to join us any time. Just be ready to hit that sh!t.

Start your Bando training by carrying a 6-pack of Tecate in your camel pak on every ride.

:D

One thing about riding with Bandos, they are always open to ride with new people. But if you break your arm or bike, they will pilfer your beer before you walk out.
That's the day we discovered the shelf line in the rock wall at Red Mesa. Good day of riding, for sure!

Bandos are super thoughful and just want to help "lighten your load" for your trek back to the trailhead.
