As mentioned before; yes, you should be worried.
The best option is to buy new spokes, you can buy straight spokes for something like 25cent to 30cent.
But depending on some variables you can nullify those 5mm difference and use your old spokes.

Effective Rim Diameter
It is the diameter of the circle made by the ends of the spokes in a built wheel.
1. You cannot trust manufacturer published data for this number.
2. If the difference is actually 5mm (again, can't trust the data), then you should not be worried, but you should not reuse the spokes if that was your plan or question. Buying new spokes is simple and easy.

Lots of conflicting messages here. I want to use the spokes already on the wheel as replacing 64 Industry 9 spokes can be a costly endeavor. The only reason I am replacing the hoops is because they are old and my wife's punched a hole through one of the wheels on a rock. So Melting feather, I should be able to use the spokes, no?

? I didn't see any conflicting advice. If you want to re-use the spokes you'll need a rim with the same ERD (or very close) as your old one. 5mm is way too far off and will require buying new spokes.
Right what he said. meltingfeather was clear in his statement that the old spokes should not be reused. They will either be too short or too long based on whether the erd of the new rims is more or less than the old.

If the ERD of the old rim and the new rim are near identical you should be ok. The 5mm OSB shouldn't cause an issue. I just built a new wheel with an i9 classic and a 5mm OSB. The calculations between the symmetrical wheel and the asymmetrical wheel were like .7mm. After building 6 wheels now I don't think .7mm is enough to make new spokes worth it.

Buying a new set of hoops and the ERD is about 5mm off. Going from older flow ex to new Mk3 Flows. Do I need to be worried?
ERD stands for erroneous rim diameter. Because whats stated on the rim and the makers site is wrong.

Well, just to throw a spokewrench in the works, we also need to know if the new ERD is larger than the old ERD, and we need to know what size spoke nipples you currently have.

A quick google shows that the new ERD is 5mm *bigger* than your old rims, so you may be able to get away with running a 2mm longer spoke nipple, and keep the same spokes. This is assuming that you used 12mm nipples on the old setup. Id be a little leary of jumping from 14mm to 16mm, but in a pinch, it should do.

But really, new spokes are the *right* way of doing it. Running longer nipples are a cheat/hack/shortcut and will likely cause your rim to explode, instantly killing you and everyone you happen to be riding with. You have been warned.

1. I9 wheels do not have nipples.
2. Longer nipples would only work if the nipples have longer threaded length. Not all do.

Aren't these stans rims? I didn't catch what hub or spokes he used.

And yes, it would be good to verify that the threaded portion is longer accordingly. Though that begs the question why someone would want a longer nipple with out a longer thread? But I digress.
