So.... I am considering upgrading my wheels from the stock units. I am digging the Hope Pro2 Evo hubs, but wanted to clarify what is the proper product to use on my 142+ frame. I understand only Spec does the 142+, and aftermarket hubs will be a 142 in the rear. Then the chain line may move inward a little so a little derailluer adjustment may be in order. But aside from that, the various models of Hope hubs is a little mind-boggling. Can anyone shed any light on whether the following are the proper products?

REAR hub options
universal:
Universal Cycles -- Hope Pro 2 Evo 142mm Disc Rear Hub >> Is this a direct swap? I can use my existing rear axle with?

crc:
Hope Pro 2 Evo Rear Hub - 12mm x 135mm | Buy Online | ChainReactionCycles.com >> Is this the base hub unit? Then I need to following kit to get it to 142?
Hope Conversion Kits Pro 2 X12 Rear | Buy Online | ChainReactionCycles.com

Am I on the right track or utterly confused?

Thanks for the info guys. Yes I am planning to build up the wheels... (probably have my LBS do the actual building) and possibly laced to some carbon rims but I think I'm liking the Hope Hubs for quality/price/value ratio.

thanks for all the info guys. I'll update when I have some wheels built up.

Does anybody happen to know the weight of the stock wheels? (I'm not lazy but removing the tires/tubes/cassette is kind of a hassle-

SPOKES : DT Industry, 2.0 stainless
