Signature? The only UDH specific detail would be the axle thread diameter/pitch and length. Overall axle length will be hub/frame dependent.

If you have the axle, install it and what's the problem? Pictures may help.

 

I don't see a problem to using an axle with a longer threaded section than intended*. Shorter would be a problem.

*It will be a TINY bit weaker, but if this isn't a DH bike seeing massive impacts it won't matter.

 

If you purchased a new frame, the new frame should come with the required axle for that bike. Rear axles are not always transferrable from bike to bike.

 

Yes, sorry, should have clarified; the frame is a warranty replacement frame bought second hand, so no fittings, axle etc included.

 

I warranty my old frame to a newer one which use UDH too. The new frame came with the new axle however it is reverse thread into the UDH hanger.

 

Thru-axle with reverse thread for UDH? UDH hanger itself has reverse thread for mounting to the frame, but the axle has normal thread.

I never noticed, the bike came installed that way from the LBS. So I didn't bother questioning about it. Will check with Yeti then.

 

I was mistaken, When putting in the allen key on the left side, it was stop by a hard o ring, which I though I hit a flat surface.
But if I push it harder, it will pass the o ring and engage the thread. So, it's a normal thread in from the left side.

After some reading around,
The right side I believe is for those ops moment where the left side got stripped, you can use the right side. Burgtec axle have dual side thread too.
