Sunrace 12 cassette - your experience

Long time listener first time caller here.
I have a question in regards to the Sunrace MZ 90 12 speed cassette. I have replaced the NX boat anchor that came on my 2019 Giant 29er Trance 2 with the Sunrace cassette and for some reason one gear is not running smoothly.
I have tried everything, checked the B tension distance with the Sram tool, I have checked hanger alignment, limit screws are set correctly, 11 gears work beautifully, the third last cog (36 tooth) is making noises. When looking at it closely I can see the inside of the chain is slightly touching the 42 sprocket, it seems the spacing between 36 and 42 is maybe one mm to tight.

Back paddling was not possible in the four lowest gears, the chain dropped instantly, have put my NX cassette back on, issues resolved.

Is anybody using the Sunrace 12 speed cassette and what is your experience?

I haven't used one, but your experience mirrors what I've heard from the couple of folks I know personally that tried one. The non-XD compatibility of the NX groupset is why I insist on a bike that at least has a GX group when I'm looking, that way if I want a lighter cassette it's just a matter of buying it, not worrying about changing a driver body. Now that Shimano is doing their spline drive thing, you can't even just go buy some high end Shimano stuff to replace the NX stuff without worrying about the driver body.

So the 3rd largest cog on my sunrace 11s is not spaced correctly in relationship to the other cogs. Shifts to larger cogs just fine but hangs going to the lower tooth cogs. I can tune it out, but its really really close. Funny m8000 will tune it out, but the better derailleur the m7100 12s cannot tune it out. Flaw in the cassette
