Been out and about on both my Scrambler and my Rambler. I'm also really anticipating the XL Mk7, I think I am going to swap the Scrambler parts to that frame and then build up the Scrambler as a parts-bin gravel bike for a friend.

 

If I wasn't so spoiled by my suspension fork, I would be seriously considering grabbing a Stooge frameset. The geometry is very similar to my hardtail and most of the components would swap right over.

My HT meets all my needs, but I'm still a sucker for a sweet and cool steel bike!

 

Leave the plunger on your old hardtail and scrap together a Stooge so you can directly compare and see how much nicer the Stooge rides than you could have imagined. You live once, pal.

I think the Stooge gravel bastard was boost spaced, but he hasn't made that model in a while.

 

The Rambler is in stock currently.. It used 100mm x 15mm and 142mm x 12mm hubs. So MTB standards, but pre-Boost.

We've settled into winter shredding mode here on Vancouver Island. Moist and slippery, but loads of fun. 🤘

 

Dirt Tracker frames appear to be back in stock.

 

They had a handful that were missing forks. When the forks turned up they were put up on the store, but didn't last long. Should be more DTs coming, but looking like late 2025 summer/fall.

 

While the drought is worrisome, the extended riding season has been nice.

 

Good conditions for 29-plus. Dirt Tracker with 1 x 11 is great but looking forward to switching back to singlespeed.

 

Howdy all, I'm normally an xc/dc and cx rider, but recently wanted a more capable drop bar bike to replace my cx bike. I found a beautiful green Ramber on the local marketpalce and now it's at the local bike shop in Northern Washington. Going to set it up with some beefy 275x2.6 tires, barzo up front and mezcal rear. I was doing research for some stooge trails to ride on in green and green-blue trails in Vancouver come spring. I know some of my trails out here, but less familiar with Vancouver. Been to whistler, kamloops, and banff, but those aren't Rambler friendly. What would be rambler friendly stuff that's more advanced than the typical forest fire road I can ride in Vancouver?

That rear 29x2.8 Oxbow isn't a small tire- cool to see the frame has that much clearance. I can't collect them all but the mk7 is on the list....

There is an XL-ish 20" size for the MK7 might fit some larger Stooge curious folks who couldn't make other models work.

N-3+1= perfect contentment for like six months, then it's back to N+1.....

Edit: A mistake was made and now a swamp mk7 18" is on the way.

 

I have a cyan blue/green 20" mk7 on the way as well! Going to swap over parts from my Scrambler and give that frame to a friend to keep n=3. I've got a ton of time to build it up, it's at least 2 months before it's dirt season here in Minnesota.

 

The biplane forks give me the new bike day willies.
I really want to ride an MK4 one day with its ridiculous rake.

 

The Mk7 looks great, I'm excited to build her up in time for Spring.

Finally free from DHL purgatory. Apparently I live in a delivery “grey zone”.

 

In case anyone was interested in how a 29x2.8" on an i40 rim looks in a mk7.....

On my frame, the non-drive side chainstay was the tightest- calling it 2mm might be generous. The drive side had more, maybe 4mm due to the plate yoke. A smaller 2.8" such as a Reckon might be a better fit.

 

That's desert & costal south-west clearance.
