Don't want the tattoo? - Don't win (SSWC Rule #1)

Thanks to Rudy and Jeff from DirtRag for the art work, I can't even draw stick-men very well!

Yeah baby, days to finish. Just imagine sweating under the heavy hand of the artist work to put that on yer hind end. It might be even more fun that a singlespeed race. Oops, did I blaspheme against singlespeed. Heaven forbid.

Glory Glory Glory to the soul the earns it. Hope its me. :p

Anyhow glad you like it.

The British Isles never get my vote anymore for anything Singlespeed!
They need 11 month to decide on the month they want to held a Championships and after that they cancle it because of some strange agricultural illness or the pest!

How about a Singlespeed World Championships Deathmarch Sonoran Style.

EatingDefacingCopulatingPretention over a hundred miles and at least ten thousand feet of climbing on a ten mile circut. I making this up as I go you see.

A nomination for Tucson in 2005, then. Second anyone?

Don't know about any 10K feet of climbing in 10 miles but I wouldn't mind seeing the cult-of-one descend on Baja Arizona, the land below the Gila, in 2005. Flagstaff has the scene to support it as well. Hell, so do Prescott and Phoenix.

On the other hand, we've had MPLS and NorCal worlds, so I think the midsection is owed the next US-based race. KC seems logical. If the eastern seaboard is feeling left out, Boston ought to make a bid. And when is Canada going to host a SSWC?

Bike down.

Never flippin' ever!!!!

That is like rule #3 of the Singlespeeding World Championships!

And for God sake could we just try to survive SSWC2004 before you even think about '05 ...
Okay but if we have to: SSWC2005 - New England gets my vote! The Brits would feel at home and it is not that far away from mainland Europe either!

I would second either nomination for Boston or Tucson. Boston has some awesome riding...very rocky and technical, plus it's got nearly no hills to speak of.

Tucson seemed really singlespeed friendly...though Rudy did keep us down low and off the big mountains.

I also recommend Pittsburgh, PA (home of Dirt Rag) and we could run the course on the infamous Punk Bike Enduro loop. Hell, we could do the whole damn race as a summertime version of the Punk Bike Enduro (which is a stage race, for those uninitiated).

But, yeah, Boston or Tucson would rock...
