you can keep it. I'll stick to bike parts made in the more recent decade instead of seeking out antiques made from abandoned technology.

trust me.. when i'm around with my bikes with SPIN wheels. everybody turns their head and tons of people ask me everyday where they can't buy a pair of those
yeah the suck, but people love them, A LOT

they turn heads because people are laughing at you as you ride away.

They're still fun. Mine are now on a Barracuda XX-XC URT singlespeed with the same Girvin fork. It draws a crowd when I bring it to Skypark. Still have slop in the bearings but I haven't played with it lately. Been building other bikes.

i have two pairs of spin trispoke, one little used and one pair with disc brake almost new.
on the used ones i changed the rear bearing.. purchased some handmade tools to remove the bearings on ebay and the whole procedure was a piece of cake. i would suggest you to do the same.
my other ones are with disc brake..
i believe that there are only 2-3 around the world still in good shape now..

I replaced the bearings twice, they have the same problem. I don't have any way to adjust sealed bearings so I'm stuck. The second set is ABEC-5 bicycle specific bearings. I'm wondering if the axle is worn? I'll be in my garage working on a few things, I'll take the bike down and have a look.

Spin is still around but they no longer make bicycle wheels. They have changed their name and are only makeing wheels for wheel chairs now. When they were making mtb wheels if you did wear the rim out you could send the wheel to them and they would replace the rim for $60.
Hi. Question. Would you have some contact information for them.
