For me its the best frame you can buy from Specialized by now!

The best I don't know but it's a no-nonsense, light frame.

I like the simple internal cable routing and off course the threaded bracket.

Boost rear end and 27,2 seatpost is also a plus for me, so yeah maybe it's the best frame

I saw my chisel expert in black/white today in my shop for the first time. It was ordered for me directly from Specialized. In real it looks 1000 times more wonderfull than in any picture I have seen till yet. Because its a business bike I have first to sign a document in my company and than I can pick it up During the ordering waiting time I often thought if I had better gone for the Epic but it was absolutely the right decision!

Searching for 2020 Specialized Chisel today I stumbled upon this image. Doesn't look like much is changing for 2020 except for colors, but this makes me think Specialized may offer some skinwall tires.

The color looks nice but I don't like skinwall tires. Black/white is my favorite bikecolor! I also ordered the Hope F20 Pedals in black/white for my black/white Chisel expert.

Some of the 2020 colors look great.

Although i am still in love with the Light blue 2019 model....
Sadly my 2018 model still runs fine without any issues so no reason to replace it tho

Its not clear from the pictures but l was wondering if Specialized would adopt the changes made on the 2020 Epic onto the Chisel , ie Longer reach, 68.5 headangle and 43 mm offset fork? Does anybody have any info on this?

The epic 2020 has a bented seat tube, this is anything I absolutely don't like. The Chisel has a straight one. For every day using and private xc raceing I prefer alloy Frames!

The 2020 chisels are already on bike shops (and still not updated in the oficial website), I don't think there is any difference in geometry from 2019 models.

Yes the comp model looks like it gained SX 12 speed , but the fork is now Judy silver and not gold as it was before.

Loving the new colours though

Base model is SX 12 with Judy Silver fork. Comp has a Judy Gold.
