For clipping on its only one way and that is to press doward but you clip the tip first ?

 

Are you using Shimano or Xpedo cleats? By the way, I gave up on Xpedo. They broke too often.

 

I am using Shimano cleats. (same dude answering that posted the question).

 

How do the multi-release cleats give more float?

 

They don’t. All the Shimano SPD cleats provide 4 deg. of float.

So if I am making a right turn I lean the bike down to my right and try to orient myself to the right by turning my hips rightward and in that process my right leg is bent and the heel of my right foot "wants" to rotate inwards towards the bike. Are you saying I should try to not allow the feet to swivel at all?

 

I guess I'm wrong too, i wear the finish off of my cranks because I rotate my foot towards the direction of turning.

 

Have you ever tried Speedplay ‘Frogs’?
