Pinkbike buy/sell section or ebay will be your friend
Will start watching Pink bike, have got some pretty decent deals on there in the past.

Took the shock off earlier, looks like I can fit a 190mm x 45mm with no modifications (stock is 190 x 42.5). I to I on the frame, assuming I measured correctly, at 145mm there are no clearance issues, nothing rubbing etc.

I also paid a little more attention to the air pressure, the maximum it will take is 240 psi, no amount of pumping gets it any higher. Makes sense, if per the manual 250 psi is the maximum, I could see it not accepting more than 240 psi to have a bit of a safety net. At that I'm getting 35-36% sag, hopefully I can find time to take it to some trails I would most regularly ride and see how it performs.

Sent X-Fusion an email earlier, waiting on there reply at the moment.

I’d put some friendly pressure on Specialized to make this right. If handled correctly I think they could be persuaded. Start nice and become increasingly frustrated while remaining respectful. Point out your disappointment and what a hassle this has been etc etc. I’ve salvaged worse situations with some customer service magic.

Never saw a shock that stopped at a certain pressure unless there was a relieve valve or something. Which isnt possible as the air pressure increases substantially when you ride it.

Is it your pump maybe?

Try this... leave it connected (200 psi) and carefully put weight on the bike. The pump should go up past 250 easily as the shock compresses. I know this as i damged my pump by leaving it connected and cycling a shock.

Tip for filling a Shock.
Pump up 50psi increase
cycle shock to equalize neg chamber.
When near higher end of psi on your pump...
turn pump connection back two rotations to seat the valve
verify it doesnt move on gauge by small shock movements
then cycle shock to equalize negative spring
twist fully back on to check final pressure and/or continue adding air.

Otherwise you loose alot of shock pressure reconnecting pump each time.

Not a bad idea, this is the 3rd Specialized I own, the others are a few years old, but purchased new, worth a reply to Specialized if nothing else.

Any replies from X-Fusion?
Sadly nothing, I emailed them direct as well as using the contact form on the website. Not even an automated response.

As far as I know the pump is good, rated to 300psi. It just won't pump anything over 240psi into the shock. Will try putting 200 psi into it tomorrow and then compress it while watching the gauge.
